Great skin makes older women look youthful, younger women look vibrant and tired women of all ages look healthy and calm.
Some people are seemingly born with beautiful skin. Think about celebrities like Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett and Helen Mirren — women with teams of makeup artists to airbrush every imperfection. The rest of us struggle with blemishes, wrinkles, grown-up acne, rosacea and brown spots — and likely feel too old or too young to be dealing with such skin problems.
Whatever your skin challenge, there's a solution — often several solutions according to the expert dermatologists we interviewed. Even better, some of the fixes are do-it-yourself (DIY). Once your skin issues are under control, good at-home skincare plus modest lifestyle changes will keep them at bay. And guess what? You don't have to spend a fortune on products or services to get smooth, glowing skin.
